The production is a period specific piece that represents the time the story took place in – a time that feels all too familiar even though it was written over 150 years ago. It highlights real relationships\, their ups and downs\, and how showing your truth isnt always easy. The audience will walk away with the recognition that they should not underestimate young women\, or kids in general – both from the story and the production – in their talent\, strength\, and persistence.
